AURELIS 2026 held in Bangkok, Thailand -18th September 2026
Four new advisors have been appointed to the Ministry of Defence with effect from Monday (07 January 2019). Accordingly, Mr. Dilshan Jayasuriya received his letter of appointment from the Secretary to the Ministry of Defence, Mr. Hemasiri Fernando during a brief ceremony at the Ministry, on Tuesday.

The Society of Indian Law Firms (SILF) and the Global Legal Times organized AURELIS 2026, where distinguished members of the legal community, senior legal professionals, law firm leaders and thought leaders from across jurisdictions convened. This conference provided a platform for valuable conversations, professional networking and stronger collaboration across borders. Our Lead Counsel, Dr. Asanga Gunawansa, PC, was panellist for Panel 1: The Future of Dispute Solutions in Asia, exploring arbitration, mediation and emerging approaches to resolving cross-border disputes. Dr. Gunawansa also shared insights into Sri Lanka’s arbitration framework during the Country Spotlight segment.
